Hi

can someone please confirm that a balliff can ONLY call at your house IF you have a court order but have NOT paid it??

DCA I think trying to scare me!!

if a court order is granted at say £2 pm and is always paid on time each month then nothing DCA's can do???

or if in repayment plan with DCA but NO court order can they send bailiffs,

im sure I read ages ago you can only get balliffs if you've not paid your court order each month

many thanks

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

Not been on the phone to them, didn't imply that I had!

its a large catalogue debt from over four years ago,

I just wanted to know if I am correct in saying bailiffs can only call if you've had a court order and NOT paid that??

the word balliff was used in the letter as a course of possible action if I didn't reply??!

Mac Halls standard threatograms list possible consequences IF they litigate and win, got a couple of them here that I am dealing with for someone.

The point is now with MH the tail is very much wagged by its parent Portfolio Recovery which is more likely to litigate.

You say " a large catalogue debt from 4 years ago" so when was the account opened and when was it defaulted?

Which CRA did you use?
