If a levy had of been made then the bailiff should have provided a Notice of Seizure.

To save me having to read the thread again, is the debt a joint one?

Given that there is one car I would be very surprised if a levy had not of been made.

The council would be able answer the question as to whether their bailiff levied goods on their behalf.

The only notice they have given, states "notice to seize goods for public auction" they have never mentioned the car which is a lease vehicle through the mobility scheme. but my sister was the only person listed so therefore it wouldn't have been joint. The only things the bailiffs have threatened was to have the police gain entry but that was 2 weeks ago and that hasn't happened.
