I haven't go much experience to be honest but im sure other on here will soon help you out.

When i realised i couldn't pay my Wonga loan back they agreed to a repayment plan. I had to send an income/expenditure form in which i did and returned. They offered a payment over 4 months of around £200. This was too much i requested 140 which they agreed to. I contacted them again after month 2 and they reduced it again to 88.

Its worth contacting them about a repayment plan.

Not a clue about Payday express and repayment plans.

Others will be soon help out too.

Let us know how things get on.

You need to secure your finances first, then deal with the PDL's. If you inform the PDL's first, its pretty much guaranteed that they will try and take money as and when they want.

I would suggest cancelling you debit card, and any direct debits to the PDL, and also any CPA's attached to the accounts ( we can help you with that). Once this is done, you should be secure, however, it might be a good idea to set up a parachute account so your money is safeguarded.

Any advice i give is my own and is based solely on personal experience. If in any doubt about a situation , please contact a certified legal representative or debt counsellor..

As renegade had just said, first priority, secure your money. Don't even Hint to either company that you intend on defaulting until your money is safe! Or else, they'll take the lot and leave you with 4p to survive the month.

Do that, ASAP and then come back here for further advice on how to try and deal with these companies.

Regards

BM

Ps, don't forget to secure your finances!!

You'll find payday express difficult to deal with when it comes to repayment plans, frozen interest/charges etc.

Negotiate at first and when undoubtedly say no make a formal complaint. Take no crap from them and they will eventually give in and accept.

But as the above said get ya money secure first.

Payday express will try and grind you down with their mind games. Avoid the telephone to them. They will be hounding you from the moment they realise they're not getting money.

They will tell you that they will only accept a repayment plan if your either deceased or have a limb hanging off... Keep any communication with them WRITTEN or email. They have a habit of replying to your emails with an updated account balance, usually with fees added on top.

On a lighter note... Wonga have been behaving themselves a bit lately and agreeing to repayment plans with people.

I know a lot of these words will seem scary but believe me, you're actually rather fortunate, when some of us were first here we had upto 10 payday loan company's to deal with at the same time. We survived it all and are still here to tell the story lol.

Don't go it alone. Plenty of people here who can advise you of the best way to deal with both company's.

Did you manage to secure your finances yet? Regards BM
