Ok, update. I've searched again and the CCJ's are registered under the old address. The only details on the report are the Court, case number and that they are unsatisfied judgements. There is no mention of who applied for them in the first place. Any ideas what to do next guys?

I presume that these are judgements by default through

the Northampton Bulk Clearing Centre, you can contact

them and get copies of the paperwork.

Brigadier, the court details show up as Northampton CCBC so that is probably the case assuming CCBC stands for 'County Court Bulk Clearing'. Is there a letter template you are aware of for getting copies of the paperwork?

You dont need a template phone the NCCBC the staff

will tell you exactly what to do etc.

It's quicker as the court is incredibly busy.

Update 2!

The CCJ's were applied for by the original DCA, C L Finance.

The court gave me their solicitors details and reference numbers and these do appear to coincide with the reference numbers on the Zinc paperwork under 'Client Ref'.

However, these are not the CCJ reference numbers and thus could be the original reference numbers belonging to CL Finance.

Would a DCA apply for CCJ's then sell off their portfolio inclusive of people they have applied for a CCJ against?

I'm going to apply to the court for the full documentation as this may shed a little more light.

Simple answer is yes if they think there is profit in selling and not

in chasing the debt further.

Who actually owns these accounts now? Have you had any notices of assignment?

You need to get the the bottom of this first.

Are Zinc acting for Lowell? Have they bought one or both of the accounts?

Looking at the Zinc website there is no mention of debt purchase

portfolio.

Some Facts:

Main company personnel

Douglas James McManus

– only registered with Courtlink (UK) Ltd

James Aitken

– only registered with Asset Collection & Investments

and Alexander Inglis & Sons

Craig Proctor

– no record

Susan Bain

– last licence surrendered

WTF is going on here? Suggest a call to the OFT might be in order.

Here’s where they’re hiding. I’m not sure this is allowed, as they are clearly stating they operate as Zinc Group Ltd.

Their accounts are five months overdue. Naughty. Wonder if they have problems... worth a word with the OFT, IMO.

It’s clearly a separate company and is itself a ‘group’ – and it’s a requirement to display your licence number.

Their web site clearly states Zinc Group Ltd which is company number 06771789.

Here’s how they get round it.

The Zinc Group delivers its services from a network of partners operating under the banner/label of the “Zinc Group”.

Zinc Consumer Recoveries

Zinc Commercial Recoveries

Zinc Computer Systems

Zinc Training Services

Complete Credit Consultancy

So they are not being transparent.

Would love to see a letterhead.
