Thought I would post a brief synopsis regarding my transfer from IB.

Nov 11 (start), received letter and ESA claim form

Dec 11 (start) Returned form.

Jan 12 (end) received letter stating “medical” in Feb

Feb 12 (end) had “medical”.

The “medical” seemed to go ok, but I know you can never really tell.

The whole “medical” only lasted 10 minutes.

Mar 12 (start) received phonecall stating I had been put in WRAG for 18 months.

Mar 12 (mid) received my medical reported that I requested.

Most of the stuff I suffer from had been completely missed off,

But I still managed to get 15 points.

I did consider appealing as I believe I should be in the Support Group.

But I ended up deciding not to, as I am on income based it won’t expire after a year,

And also I didn’t want to risk a reassessment being brought forward.

Apr 12 (start) Received letter stating I had to attend WRAG interview mid May

May 12 (Mid) Had interview.

Very friendly lady, first updated my details on the system and told me about the support. Also confirmed I was in WRAG for 18 months, also stated "that’s a while, most are for 6 months to a year". She said that clearly I wasn’t ready to return to work but she had to do that interview. Also she does need to keep in touch about how I’m feeling and if I’m ready to return to work (also she has to do that).

She asked me if it would be easier for me if we had a telephoned interview next time, and I said yes.

She said next interview via phone will be in 6 months time.

Everyone’s will no doubt be different but hope it helps someone in someway.
