If this is still an issue, try pressing the alt key (to display the menu bar) then View -> Toolbars & select "Navigation Toolbar"

Dont see how its a glorified piece of spyware since you can switch off all the analytical crap.

Any advice i give is my own and is based solely on personal experience. If in any doubt about a situation , please contact a certified legal representative or debt counsellor..

OK I'm testing Chromium (the open source version of Chrome). Assuming the settings are the same how do you "switch off all the analytic crap"?

Normal chrome you can just go through the address bar to the correct config page and alter it.
