wheel clamping ban ???

anyone have any idea when wheel clamping is to be banned ?

 

is it correct once banned that they will start issuing tickets and can chasethe owner of the vehicle ?

 

anyway to stop the clampers getting our details ?

Does that include places where motorists are invited to park ( such as supermarkets and retail parks) and then these motorists break one of the PPC's stupid rules such as having a wheel touch a line or staying a few minuets over the designated time? .That doesn't come under the definition of "don't park where you are not meant to".

April/May (2012) is the suggested timescale for the protection of Freedoms Bill to receive royal assent. Any wheelclamping ban is likely to come in to force at some point, perhaps months, after that.
