Hi, really sorry if this is the wrong place to post - but could anyone help me to work out the interest accrued on some cahrges on my MBNA (A&L) CC? I have clocked up £225 charges since December 05 & want to claim them back + the interest - but I have no idea how to work the interest out?

Thanks all in advance :)

There is an excel file for this very purpose, on this site - GO_HERE

However, if you prefer, send me a list of charges and the dates they were applied to your account, and I will create the base file for you. You can simply add your own details afterwards....

Let me know if you want to help, you can send a PM or email [email protected]

Hi

Welcome to the forum, the more people we have on board the more strength we have to fight these unlawful charges. I am sure you have a great many questions, and would therefore advise that you to have a look at the FAQ's:

http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=5

In the same section you will also find a step-by-step guide which will help you through the process, also there is an excel spreadsheet in the Library to help with your interest calculation.

All the best with your claim. Please keep us informed of your progress, and remember that we are all in this together. If you meet any problems, or have questions that are not answered elsewhere (and most have been), please post them to the forum.
