Hi

Just a quick question.

What time of day can a bailiff call round to your home for council tax debt? I read somewhere it was normal office hours, between 8AM-6PM.

Is this correct?

Many thanks

tell us the story please

dx

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

Thanks Hallowitch

Its really more having the answer for when they do visit at the mo. They havent been yet and the car is hidden through the day but i want it back on the drive overnight where it is secure. It was more the need to know when i have to get the car off the drive by and when i can put it back on really.

If the bailiffs levy your car (which they can do if its in your drive even if its behind locked gates) once they have your reg they can and will use ANPR (automatic number plate recognition) and may clamp it outside your work etc

A levy on your car gives them the right to a levy fee approx£50 also a van/attendance fee this can be as much as £180
