This is not really a problem as such....although it may result in one.

The company I work for want to remove all managers from the collective bargaining unit.

I smell a rat somewhere, can anyone see an ulterior motive behind this move? :wink::???:

Our union rep told us this piece of information...but I am a very suspicious person when it comes to our HR manager....she speaks with forked tongue.

We have two sites in the UK but our T&C's are different. The company wants to amalgamate the contracts but obviously does not want to negotiate up to either sites advantage. We will not give up our holiday hours, sickness benefits etc. But if they impose them with proper notice will this mean their management structure does not have to adhere to these new T&C's but can keep their favourable ones.

If that in the case can it be construed as an inducemant to quit the collective bargaining unit?
