Hi guys,

Well I wrote to capital one just over 2 weeks ago about the amount of phonecalls I was receiving and told them that all communication should be by letter only. I was getting really fed up with the amount of phonecalls and having to repeat the same things to them time after time. On Friday I received a phonecall from a lovely lady from Capital one regarding the letter ( a bit strange I know since the letter was about phonecalls) but she was actually phoning to tell that all the charges had been paid back into my account:-) , £240 worth and she was really sorry about all the phonecalls. Can't beleive it was this easy, is it just me or has anybody else found it this easy?

Fi x

No I did'nt ask for any money back but told them that I was'nt happy with all the charges that were being added to my account. My next step was to write to them asking for my statements for the last 6 years but hey ho won't be needing to do that now lol.

Next mission is the Halifax:cool:

Wish me luck.

Thats the same building, just the road address, the executive response centre are the ones who make the offers initially, the legal team are for when it gets to the claim stage and I think for the data protection act requests. My offer came from the Executive Response Centre.
