Thanks JB, for us the caution entailed going into a room with a person from the DWP, I think they come from a different office somewhere and she explained that the caution is not a criminal record and that no one but the DWP will know its been issued, she checks that you agree to the caution then I signed for it and we were done. All over in less than 5 minutes and with a damn sight more compassion than was shown in the original IUC, actually asked if we were ok and understood everything and made sure I knew that was it there would be no further action, all in all a very nice lady in our case and a fair attitude.

That's good for people to know then. I had visions of it being like when you get a police caution. I got one of those when I was 14 for pinching a pair of socks from a supermarket (Long story LOL) & the policeman that did the caution was fierce! Didn't like :jaw:
