Great the financial crisis started because of greedy Americans.. we lost iconic British companies with lost jobs in the hundreds of thousands..

And now one of them comes over here to continue destroying British companies and ruining lives.. yes we really do have a special relationship with the US.. more friendly fire anyone??

Hello Martin, Bluedo and All the Other member, there's the info that I want to share with you... I got this info from Computeach and I hope is Useful for everybody... just don't get more angry when you read!

Hi (Edit the Name for Obvious reasons),

Thank you for your time today, as discussed please find details below on our training options.

]I have attached some pdf brochures with the course details, please email back if have any difficulty opening and viewing the pdf attachment.

The course is based on a subscription plan, similar to a mobile phone contract. You simply subscribe for a minimum of 12 months then at the end of your subscription period you simply choose to subscribe for a further period if you haven’t completed your studies. Additional study can be added on a month by month basis.

The annual subscription charge is £1679.00 (payment options available) which includes all learning materials at the various stages of your course/tutor support/examinations (not including re-sits) and our dedicated careers service to help you into your first IT role.

1. Course is studied at home - In your own time and at your own pace.

2. Full Tutor Support - Via Phone, Email, Fax and Forums.

3. Latest study materials provided - Books, Manuals, CD-ROMs, E-learning etc –We are Microsoft Gold Partner for learning solutions.

4. Student licensed software (if required)

5. Exam costs included – We have over an 85% first time pass rate

6. Fully industry recognised qualifications

7. In-centre training days if required – (Practical & Theory)

8. Full recruitment service - Professionally written CV

- Interview tips and training

- Career guidance

- Mock interview/assessment provided

- Starts from day 1 of training

- Established for over 41 years placing ONLY our students into full time employment.

We recommend that you start on Support Professional and then once this is completed move onto another course. During your 12 month enrolment you can move on to any course as soon as you have completed the previous one, therefore the more hours you can study the more qualifications you can get. (Just to confirm that you complete a module, take the mock exam, then you sit your actual exam – when this is passed you then move on the next module and complete the steps over again)

If you are able to pay the enrolment fee in full we can currently offer students 14 months study for the price of 12 months study (worth £279.90

However if this is not an option for you we can offer a range of payment options to fit in with your current budget - there is no interest charged and no credit checks, for example we can offer you payment over 5 months– simply 5 payments of £335.80 We take the first payment by debit/credit card and then the next 4 payments are taken by direct debit.

Whilst we think we are the best and can offer you an achievable route into the IT industry, you don’t have to take our word for it.

Our students have their own say at www.computeachtv.co.uk

I look forward to speaking to you again next week, however please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any queries before then.

Kind Regards

on a Mobile phone contract you pay for your service each month.. not for the whole year up front.. how is this like a mobile phone contract?

its just the same thing as they usually charge re-wrapped

and just like with advent computeach get paid by the finance company up front.. and they can vanish with your money just like advent has :-x

almost as if.. this was the plan from the start??

The guy at Barclays told me that money had already been given to advent.. so what happened to all of the money that Barclays paid??

could this have been the plan all along to train us on the cheap and they split the extra money between them??

would fit in.. now the directors of advent are now working for computeach

 anyone??

Thats a great find from beedle, surely that puts in a fantastic position now to get back what we deserve after this mess from BPF. People already have been refunded due to the ombudsmen forcing it.

I for one feel confident now that justice will be served.

hi been a while scince i logged in when did the OS force the refunds? and what was it that beedle foind ?I,m confused!

go back a page mate and theres a link in one of beedles posts. Read that and itl explain.

Yea be great if the FO could make BPF simply refund everyone but i cant see it being that simple.

Have a look at this link Barclays’ pack of cards includes more ‘Jokers’. i dont think they have a leg to stand on.

Beedles6, Great find. Very interestig read. Im rearly stuck which way to turn at the moment, who to write to and how to solve the situation. I carnt as some people have stated on here cannot rearly afford a solicitor, but can only see thats the best way to get what i want, a refund. After reading that post that beedles has found im unsure now wether i should send a letter to BPF and the obudsman qouted on that post and wait to see the outcome, our wait for the CAG team to help?? which is much apprecaited by the way martin and the team.

Any suggestions which may be the best way to go about this?

Happy easter to all.

It would be great if the FO made a blanket decision, can it do that?

The OFT or FSA could-but it would probably not be before a lengthly investigation.
