Hi Moonwillow. Try not to panic, there are lots of people who can help you here and a couple who have been successful in reclaiming money taken from their bank. Take a look through the other CapitalFinanceOne threads on here and you'll find out how they did it.

Just a couple of questions so we can help you a bit more:

1. Did you repay the loan in full at the end of August, or were you unable to pay?

2. What did they tell you that you would be expected to repay in your credit agreement (they should have emailed this to you)?

3. Do you have any other payday loans?

I'm not prying, just trying to find out what situation you are in so you can be given the best advice.

Chin up, you will get it sorted out - you just might have to work at it a bit. ;)

Hi,

I've managed to get a hold of them. Apparently what happened was they went to take the payment from the wrong account which didnt have the funds available. I did actually call twice, once to confirm the account the payment was coming out of and again when it didnt come out of there. because all of the funds weren't there, they've been reapplying all over the place for whatever they can get hold of. I originally owed them £195, but now they've taken £269. There is a very nice lady who is looking into this now for me, I've got my debit card cancelled so that can't take any more from it and they're emailing me some details later apparently.

Some way to getting this sorted I hope

thanks xx

Is the "very nice lady" from your bank or CFO?

I would still go through the threads here so you get an idea of what to expect - some people are still waiting for refunds via CFO from some time ago.

All the best.

That poster must be a one off because my experience certainly wasn't like that.

CFO have been that terribke tio deal with that i have had to make a compliant to FOS to try andf get them to co-operate. They do not follow OFT guidelines and refuse to respond to my complaints. Both OFT and I have been waiting nearly 4 months for their final replay to my complaint and they just keep sending the same letter but add additional charges to each one they send.

If CFO are an example of great customer service what in the world is classes as bad customer service. As far as i am concerned CFO are about the worst company i have ever dealt with. I wish I had never heafrd of them let alone use them
