Hi Everyone.

I currently have 3 payday loans all due on the 25th of this month. I want to know the step by step guide on how to contact them so i can change the loan from full payment on the 25th to a lower payment of say 50 to each company per month.

I owe

519 - ptillpyday

375 - quickquid

450 - payday uk

Please could someone explain how i can go about contacting them regarding changing these from full payment on payday to 50 pound per month each please

Best Wishes

I'm not to sure about the abreviations that people are using, so please make things simple for me please)

Hi SMBird

First of all report your card 'lost' that way you get a new card that these companies can't access (albeit occasional payment seems to slip through). Also cancel any direct debits you have. You will need to keep checking your account as they may try to reinstate without telling you.

As for the individual companies.

PTill Payday - Will hassle you by phone for a while, just refuse to talk to them. They will then pass to Clarity Collections who will happily accept your repayment offer.

Quick Quid are good if you can pay over 3 months if not you will need to wait for them to pass to a debt collection agency, probably 1st credit. Again these people will accept payment plan.

Can't tell you much about Pay Day UK but I have read that they will accept offers of repayment better than some. Just stick to your guns.

I wouldn't tell these companies in advance as this will give you a chance to prepare yourself and delay the annoying phone calls. I would then insist on paying by standing order or over a bank counter only.

Ultimately don't let them bully you, they have no real option but to reach an acceptable agreement with you.

Good luck.
