Hi,

This is probably quoted somewhere else but I'm not very good at trawling through lots of info and wondered if anybody could tell me how far back your claim can go - I have a lot of charges dating back to 1998 when I was a student, will I be able to make a claim?

I'm sorry to say that you had better go and do some trawling. It won't be appreciated here if you don't. Most of the work has been done for you - but you do have to do the trawling yourself. :x

If you just at least read the FAQs - then you will have a better understanding - I don't think that they are too heavy going - but if you come across something you don't understand, then of course, please post here.

Have read all the FAQ's and am well under way now, just haven't posted to this thread for a while.

I noticed that there is another posting on here regarding the lack of correspondence from HSBC so I take it that it's not uncommon. Just wanted to check as I'm also dealing with A&L and they acknowledged both letters.

Congratulations!!

If you haven't yet sent back your acceptance letter, strike out the part about confidentiality and send it back (you will still get your money) and then you can tell us all about it.

The claim has been concluded. Can't say anymore!

Can you let us know the date on which you decided to withdraw your claim against HSBC?

Your claim was acknowleged eight days after filing and they stated they intended to defend. One can only assume they wrote to you with details of their defence and you had second thoughts - what date was it they wrote to you?

Cheers
