I have an outstanding loan with these loans till payday type people. I lost my job so could not pay at the end of October. They told me to wait until the loan defaulted and then I could arrange a repayment, possibly, with their collections. My loan is two weeks overdue and it has already incurred nearly £200 in charges and they are refusing to accept a repayment offer. Can anyone help me please. I lost my job due to MS and am struggling to find more work, all my other creditors have been good and reasonable accept this one. Thanks

Ask for a copy of their complaints procedure and put in a complaint to them, when they don't reply go to the FOS, they really deserve to lose their trading licence. Do you know their 'lending criteri' changes almost monthly and that they really exploit the interest rates they cite...

 

Personally I think all loans of this type should be paid back in three installments with no additional charges added.

blowing bubbles did your read the other thread ask them to freeze interest and setup a repayment plan.

I have been trying to make a payment of £900 since Monday and they keep coming up with excuses for not taking the payment. Systems down etc - in the meantime they are still adding interest and the woman keeps promising to call me back but never does.

sounds like a tatic if I were you I would note the excuse place a complaint with wonga and the FLA saying they are obstructing your payment. That should get them moving
