Had a reply today, to my DPA letter sent to Cutomer Relations at Boreham Wood .

They sent me a standard Right of Subject Access form to complete and return to my branch, with £10 payment.

Why they just couldn't accept the letter I sent which actually contains MORE information?

Interestingly the reply wanted to know specifically which charges I am disputing. I sent the standard libray DPA letter which makes no mention of charge disputes, merely a request for information and data held.

Weird?

Search for my recent posts dealing with DPA but containing the word "fiduciary".

Send them a reply framed in those terms. You don't have to complete any particular form and they are stalling. As for which charges you are disputing, tell them "everything - as they well know".

Well I have eventually recieved a reply in the form of bank statements, which don't go back far enough - the dates were stated quite clearly on DPA letter. No mention of any "manual intervention"

If your statements you received go back to October 2002 you are likely to receive the rest in a second package. This appears to be common - see my thread "My Claim Diary" for their explanation.

Good luck. Don't let them grind you down.
