If you didn't have legal representation then of course you won't be liable but if you did you may find you are particularly if your didn't inform them of your intention to settle

As for the rest of my advice I can only go by what I know & that is a great deal more than you & I can assure your advice to those already represented to settle direct may well have caused problems of which they may not yet be aware

As for the rest of your personal comments I won't justify them with a response other than to say anyone who accepts your advice is foolish in the extreme as it's very doubtful it will end there

Not for someone we know personally who was coerced into signing that letter it hasn't - so watch your back and watch your car please.

Fleeced I understand everyones situation is different. They cant take my car, simple as, I have:

No interest on HPI anymore

Email from Paul Foster stating that the agreement is genuine

The original offer letter.

If they touch my car, it becomes a Criminal issue, not civil.

If a company, any company reneged on an agreement it would be a civil matter not a criminal one. As the police have already shown they are not interested so it would be up to the 'injured' party to sue

If anyone, who has legal representation in their fight with LBL, has been offered or even accepted a settlement directly or indirectly or has been told they will lose their vehicle or are liable for costs if they refuse please contact your solicitor as a matter of urgency as a statement may be required

New to this forum. Can you please enlighten us as to what the background of this is and how you managed to obtain a settlement or what grounds / argument was used against lbl for them to agree to settle

My original & subsequent posts are advisory to those who may have been contacted by LBL & asked to settle.

May I suggest you read the whole thread & the many more such threads that are on this forum
