the most annoying thing is... they cash the cheques as soon as they arrive in the court's post room - before they do anything. yes, ring the court tomorrow and see where the land lies!!!
  2. i'd suggest you do a new claim for the new charges after you've settled your first one to save complications and cost on the present claim. on mcol, did you tick the box that said you would be claiming interest or did you ignore it??
  3. i hate getting philsophical because it makes me want to leave the country i was born and bred in!!! i'm all for the underdorg - the parking fees, the toll fees to drive around your own town, the ethnic minorities that don't get a fair hearing because 'if they're born here they should live by our culture'.... (excuse me, but what culture do we have that's so good we feel the need to inflict on somebody else???), smokers can't smoke, drivers can't drive what they want to drive, rich, poor, health, education...aaaggghhhh!!!! we're all in one big system - and that system stinks. don't get me started.
  4. mine (all 283 pages) came in one great big parcel that my poor postie struggled and fought to get through my letterbox - to no avail lol... i had to go and fetch them from the sorting office!!! there really is no method in their madness is there????!!!!
  5. do you have statements going back 10 years?
  6. when you open up the spreadsheets, i think you have to save them as they're in 'read-only' format. once you've saved them you can add your own details.
  7. lol.... bill just do as you're told!!! you know lats is right xx
  8. mole/rats nooooooooo here we go again double oh seven lol
  9. hey...i've got a chewed thru shed up for grabs PLUS i live on a hill.. plenty of wood/hills for crosses or such like feel free lol
  10. would you mind pm'ing me the letter gez?
  11. hi mr weasel homework is the key here!! i have no idea what the 14 day letter from the bbc says, so don't know what to say on that. anyway, you sent it and i'm assuming that it's asking for you money back or else you'll take them to court?? you'll need to read as much as you can and as many threads as you can so your'e comfortable with the process. you have to be confident in that you know what your'e doing before you claim so you don't get any nasty surprises. let me know what that 14 letter contains ok?
  12. they usually pay up between 7-10 days, so i'd give it till the end of the week
  13. you're getting closer to the 'little old lady thing' but i'll choose my own thanks lol
  14. so glad they've finally paid up gaz... well done x
  15. type them in exactly as they appear on your statment
  16. oh please!! that one's got football hooligan written all over it lol
  17. ok, the interest calculator on mse is really easy but doesn't include details of each charge. you will need a detailed s/s when you file your claim so it will be better if you can download one from this site and fill in your details your statements. the conflicting info is... mse tell you to ask for the 8% interest from the outset, but here we don't. also mse will give you guidance so far into your claim, then somehow the info stops - that's where we get peeps after the event.... for help!
  18. i think as long as you are making regular payments on the loan account, then you should be able to push for a cheque. good luck and well done on your settlement!
  19. contractual interest should have been claimed from the outset i.e. prelim letter. very complicated, and needs to be understood fully before claiming it.
  20. there is a difference in the way that mse and cag operate. be careful that you don't submit conflicting information. stick to one website or another wednesday.
  21. yes, request small claims track. the judge will decide which track it will go down anyway. if it goes to fast track, it will mean that hsbc have to disclose their charges (which doesn't happen)
  22. welcome to the hsbc forum and very good luck on your claim. you've been there before so you know the tried and tested methods!! gosh we're so responsible for keeping jobs open/new recruitments at hsbc lol
