ok... no access to a pc, so it will all depend on how good a friend you are!! exactly the same principles to claim back but they're gonna need your help when it comes to spreadies and such like. it can all be handwritten but if they have a 'good friend' like you, then you'll be able to pass on all that vital criteria e.g. how the interest is worked out etc, letters, and hope they donate to YOUR site when they've won lol

your claim is less than 5k before interest so no problem billgates the 5k thing is not set in concrete anyway, mine was over 5 before interest and it still went down the small claims track.

filing a claim with mcol is really simple. take a good look at the link i'm sending, register your claim and you can pop in and out of the site anytime you like until you submit your final claim. HMCS Money Claim Online don't be worried, keep reading people's threads so you have a good idea of what happens/could happen next. always try and be one step ahead. it's so important to be confident in what your'e doing - that way you won't be in for any surprises!

hi and welcome to the forum. firstly, make sure you know what you are doing before you make a claim. i would personally stick to the tried and tested method on this site and not mse, as mse only give you so much advice (sometimes contradictory to what is advised on this one!). as for not having many successes, i would take time out and read as many threads as you can. there are very many successes indeed. i haven't read a thread yet where nobody won!! as for closing your account - they won't! but they may if you claim a second time and a parachute account is advisable as a fallback. each claim is different - so just because your friend got hers back after 2 months, does not mean that you will. you have to be patient and determined. most of all, what i said in the beginning - make sure you do your homework before you start. that way you know what to expect and the bank knows you are serious about claiming YOUR money back. good luck
-
homework is the most important thing to do before you start though! make sure you understand what you are doing and try and be one step ahead of the process... you'll be fine. we're all here to help you.
-
lol... you won't need a quill or a pot of ink, just a hardy printer and a lot of patience. there will be peeps here every step of the way to help you should you get stuck or need advice. seems daunting at the beginning but if you're anything like me and a lot of others on here, you'll end up being totally addicted and then end up helping others - which is what makes the site so brilliant. all like minded people helping each other!
-
