For all the misery you caused HSBC **WON**
nettyg replied to siena's topic in HSBC, FD and HFC successes
hi siena i think this is basically 'gee-up' dg into making an offer or getting their wares on the table. i feel an offer coming to you soon. if you don't receive an offer in the next couple of weeks - start getting your 'bundle' ready for the 25th june, don't do it yet, you've plenty of time. fingers crossed xx -
Overdrawn charge not a fee but a service charge ?
nettyg replied to The Phantom's topic in HSBC Bank
they don't usually close your account after a first claim but if they do, you should write a letter of complaint to the FOS. they're not to happy about banks taking retaliatory action and closing accounts and sometimes they are paying out compensation to customers who have had their accounts closed (i've heard £200 in some cases). do you have internet banking? just a thought. i complained about charges (for a second claim) via email on internet banking and sent a letter to heidi daniels telling her that i would be claiming my charges back. i won after sending her my own version of a lba, before i had to take it to court. as your claim is for £25 i'd try getting it back that way, before issuing a claim in court. - just a thought!! -
they shouldn't close the loan account as it is a separate account from the one you are claiming on.
-
and here you are... i sometimes do the morning shift too

you might even get a shiny leaflet in the post in the future, all about the ombudsman and how you can contact them if you feel hard done by!! as iancognito says..... stick to your guns and claim your money back. send of your lba 14 days after your last letter. good luck

-
yes... i know - i'll be charged for eye tests soon because of my thread lol. but if you read as much as you can when you put baby down for a nap, it's the key to understanding. there are some fantastic people on this site who'll be with you every step of the way til the day the cheque drops on your doomat - and beyond. and what a lovely feeling that is!! any question you have will be answered by somebody who knows - which is really comforting when you think you're alone against the 'big boys'.
-
trust me... it's a wonderful feeling when you get that cheque/credit to your account. justice will be done!!!
-
the letter does relate to benefits, i.e. tax credits, pensions, jobseekers allowances, child benefit etc.
-
mcol is just convenient as you can watch the status of your claim online - that's the only difference bubbles. good luck with it xx
-
should be renamed to 'the bank's been shafted' lol
-
personally, i think you're close to a settlement on this, however a little nudging letter or a phonecall to dg, stating what you've received in the post... and wouldn't it be better, cost wise for all involved if they come up with a settlement now, rather than have to file the aq. hang in there yoshi.... soon
-
somebody mention a party?????? sheffield???? i love sheffield!!!
-
one small point... you can't claim for the allocation questionnaire as it was dispensed with and not required. apart from that - you're doing a grand job. good luck and hopefully your money will be with you before 14th June.

i'm sure that the banks/solicitors do have 'moles' on this site. good thing to have a username that's not your own name. 6. Interest calculation spreadsheets see if this link opens and take a look at the spreddies in there
