  1. did someone mention a party in cambridge??? RIGHT.... i'll got buy myself a new hat straight away lol:D
  2. hi firstly, no don't give them extra time for easter! they wouldn't have taken it into consideration if they charged you!! now secondly, it's your claim not theirs so you stick to your own timetable and not theirs. file your claim with the courts/mcol now.
  3. Charges description on statements - Please Read take a read through this and make sure your'e not missing anything, oh and also newly named 'notified fees/notified charges'.
  4. hi dp i did do a claim, initially by email but it was my second claim. the first one was quite a substantial amount (over 6k) and this is why i think they let the next claim go through quite quickly before me having to file in court. you could try i suppose, but i think if you do the tried and tested method used by this site (and start practising your letter writing skills) you can't go wrong. it's quite simple anyway - all the letters are here in the templates library, so all you have to do is tweak them and fill in your own details. go on... give it a go!! good luck
  5. veedubg i'll send you a link below, so you know what to claim for from your statements. if it's not included in the link, you can claim for the newly named 'notified fees'/notified charges' too. Charges description on statements - Please Read good luck
  6. ok stop panicking!! read the link slowly and then slowly again and it will all be obvious in the end. it's mainly photocopying anyway (lots of it) so don't be in any rush to start it just yet - just make a list of things that you'll need. i doubt that you will need it anyway. Basic Court Bundle
  7. just hang in there - it'll come sooon
  8. im getting the same info- firstly after refusing to speak any longer with an indian lady i couldn't understand who kept saying there were no such records held, she finally put me on to an english lady who asked which years i was interested in. i stated i wanted from 1995- 2000 and she informed me on the phone that she could order them, there and then and she would let me know by phone later that day when she had done this. so... she rang me back as promised with the news that what is held on microfiche, is actually what i can download myself on internet banking, which is 2001 - to date!!!!! can you believe these people?? she also asked me why i needed the information - cheek, and then proceeded to ask if i was trying to make a claim!!! i told her to mind her own business. so brick walls all round at the moment unless we know anyone with a balaclava and a sawn-off who knows where they keep their archive storage!!!
  9. big kids yes... but kids all the same!! gosh i've been called a legend and a superstar all in a weekend - blimey!! lol
  10. i bet you used the spreadsheet from mse website?? the banks are more and more saying that the spreadsheet from there is not sufficient, also you should not include the 8% until you file your claim with the court (i know they say different on mse). have a look at the link i'm sending you. the spreadsheets are really user friendly and they will detail everything that appears on your statement correctly. 6. Interest calculation spreadsheets and also this Charges description on statements - Please Read

    parian v HSBC

i'm such an idiot sometimes!! i didn't give you the link to the rejection letters did i? also forgot to mention that the offer you have had will have been from an earlier letter you sent to hsbc, and is too late now you have started your claim and incurred further costs. Rejecting Offers
  16. all that this means is that you will be given a court date at your local court - where both parties will have to disclose all evidence to be used in the case. don't panic because hsbc don't want to disclose jack!! and my way of thinking is whatever date you get for the hearing, dg solicitors will pay you by. fingers crossed for a speedy conclusion for you.
  17. hi selinan you may not receive an aq - they've started dispensing with them in the courts but that's nothing to worry about. they might give you a court date instead on a certain date, but my way of looking at it is, dg will settle before that date so chin up and fingers crossed

  21. yep, that's about average timescale these days - 4 months... but worth it when it drops on the doormat! there's that tremendous feeling of self-righteousness that you've beaten the big boys lol
  22. erm... yes it is!! it cost you a further 80 squid - refundable costs, so write and tell them thanks very much but you want the further costs incurred by filing your claim.
  23. exactly.... don't halt the claim till you get the moolah in your mitts
