  1. Pure bluff,,, your in rented accommodation so let them save you £600 and make you BR.... Won't go past the starting gate all phish and wind
  2. illegitimi non carborundum Especially those pond life who thought that spread sheet up... yo I am falling about. Hope lowells take one of my debts,,, could contact James when its his turn to troll this great site... Few choice words for that troll would be forthcoming me thinks...
  3. top shelf of comedy that one Royal.... pure fraud !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hit em hard
  4. had the same priority read this one for a laugh.. Who are they to tell people to sign and that they have a liability to pay,,, jumping the gun me thinks. Then today through the post come's the pay a £1.00 Hippy and by May 20th Have wrote back telling them account in dispute, used one of Bazooka's he did for me for another pond life.... So u can imagine the content... !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! puerile, idea's of grandeur and all that... Make's me think something is fishy here, this is a late 90's card early 00's now Moorcroft were dealing with this back in 2009 and never ever sent there standing order details. I have sent no Income and Expenditure form and they have accepted a token payment without a eyelid being batted. That is all I can afford by the way but have had to jump through hoops with some of them and others it is a 60 - 70% discount straight away. Have only ever SAR one of my 18 creditors and that was for an overdraft with Yorkshire bank. Never done a CCA either to any of them. My line is they play ball I play ball...hmmmm 8-)8-)8-)8-) freds.pdf Scan10009.pdf
  5. Hi Jellybabe I am now about to start my own battle with Fredricksons in respect to an Argos card. Am following with interest. I will SAR Argos on Thursday. Best of luck. Do you mind if I ask what year or approx you took out the Argos card?????
  6. Moorcroft were dealing with my Argos store card but never ever sent me there standing order details so never set up my token payment. Letter out of the blue from Freds who I thanked for bringing this to my attention. The bill has rose dramatically so I am going to SAR Argos and see what is going on. Attached is the letter returned, hmmmmm signature for SAR and still liability to pay,,,, there jumping the gun. I have sent two SAR's off before and have not signed so I am not going to give my signature over.. Also would love to write a nice letter back to Fred's telling them they are a step a head of the game. Think I need Bazooka Boo's skilful sarcastic letter writing skills. I know these shower are the worst of the bunch as they have there pitt-bull Mr Carter, so am going to tread carefully here, especially as I am a house owner, though in negative equity by £20,000, all my other creditors have accepted token payments and as I said have only requested two SAR's before on a overdraft and have not even gone down the CCA route on any of my creditors with most of my CC being taken out in the mid 90's. I have had offers of up to 60% reductions so this has put me on my guard about the enforceability of a lot of my debts. Question 1. should I hold off paying the token payment until I receive information back from Argos.???? Await advice. Hippy 8-)8-)8-) freds.pdf
  7. I have received a letter from Freds in respect to an Argos card that was being dealt with by muppetcroft but as they did not send out there standing order details they did not get my token payment. My argos bill has risen from £650 to £870 told Freds thanks for bringing it to my attention and that I will have to SAR Argos to see what is going on and request a copy of CCA.... well that was two weeks ago nothing back from them yet. I HEARD THESE ARE THE BAD BOYS OF THE DCA BUSINESS AND THAT MR CARTER IS THE MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!! GOES FOR BULK CCJ'S.... like priority let the battle commence.
  8. Like the letter teaboy,,, will certainly use that one if the muppets Fredrickson international use that one. they have my argos card account now,, forgot about that one in the grand scheme of things, so see what they say to £669 at £1.00 a month
  9. Good old Scotcall, they were the only one's that turned up on the hippy's door un-announced. Kevin was his name, told him no uncertain terms will talk till the cow's come home on all subjects including the meaning of life, but as for my personal debts... do one. Guess what, Muppetcroft on the scene now,,, hiking charges on a an 02 bill etc etc,,,, wrote to O2 complained but them muppets just said deal with muppetcroft.. but at least they gave me a figure of what was owing,,,, hmmmm a lot different from muppetcrofts figure, repeat the same old same old,,,,, £1.00 token payment and that is all I can afford, good enough for Yorkshire bank on £13,000 good enough for them. Set up standing order and the cheeky gits write and say thank you hippy for your £1.00 but you have not agreed a plan with us...heeeeee,,, what plan say's I, take it or leave it, or see you in court.... Await there next instalment. hmmm. Had a problem with Brookes and Bentley over a £45.00 left owing on some jewellery, cheeky sods charged me £20.00 late payment fee,,, guess what, hippy paid the £45.00 and told them to whistle for the late charge, where do they get these figures from. All paid off and not heard a dicky from CCS collect... Did not even have the decency to acknowledge my letter. Bit I digress, if every Neanderthal of a DCA turned up who said they would, I would bring the estate to a halt with congestion.
  10. Tell them to Foxtrot Oscar, this country is getting out of control, where is the innocent till proven guilty.... wake up and smell the coffee, I would like to see them try and bring a criminal prosecution. Absolute tosh.. Also remember, the criminal age of responsibility is 10 years not 10 months.... Any court would laugh it out... Foxtrot Oscar to them.
  11. you have come to the best place R46 and as some have mentioned we have all been there try £39k and trying to keep roof over your head... These guys on here are an inspiration, I wish you luck.
  12. Thanks BB, late night decorating and going through those statements. Ok, excuse my ignorance, what is an IBA, ???? secondly, should I write to Yorkshire Bank and say you have not fulfilled the SAR as I wanted copies of the letters I sent when in dispute. Also when those bad-boys Marlins come knocking tell them I am only going to pay there amount less £255.00 which is the charges Yorkshire Bank put on. (less the £100 refund) I wanted the whole lot refunded. Mind you at the moment this is by and by as with my calculations just reaching the £680.00 I estimate I owe will take me 34 years and that will make the old hippy 88 hmmmmmm The original fox amongst the chickens here BB was Marlins wanting more dosh per month and asking for all details etc etc..... I am not disputing I owe £680 but at present me and ex can only afford £1.00 each..... Like yourself I detest the way they have ideas of powers that they can demand this and that. My West Highland Terrier has more authority to look at my wage slip and bank statements..... I am going to send them an IE and that's all, if they want to pursue let the Judge decide, he can view my IE my wage slips and Bank accounts..... The way things are heading with the public services they will be lucky to get a £1.00 I await yours and any others comments.
  13. subbing with interest as I use to get a lot of calls at work, also Blair snot and Oliver even wrote to the Hospital I work at addressing it to Happyhippy member of staff, they reckoned they did not have my address... still with OFT await reply. Like your script BB for phone calls...... so Molly I do sympathise with you and do as BB and the rest of this great group of people say, never speak to them. I got my boss to threaten anyone who called with legal action as it is an Emergency department at a local hospital and they were holding up an Emergency line... I'm on skype and me old mobile is in a work colleagues name as guess what... !!!! Hippy could not get credit, but hey, did not want to anyway. Was happy to go, pay as you go, but a good old work colleague and very good friend took a contract out for me as it would have been a pain. That was two years ago never missed a payment and also will give Lee from Vodafone praise, he sorted out Crapquest for me and they accepted me token payment...and any extra from over time. Why oh why do the banks and Credit institutions turn to the pond life of the DCA's surely they would get more out of there customers if they themselves dealt fairly with customers in trouble. Yes Hippy is at rock bottom at the moment, but who knows what the future holds... A lottery win, ( though I rarely can afford it) maybe ex will win and give me some,,,,, or some stroke of good luck that gives me plenty of money. If I was younger I might set up a business and turn it in to a multi million pound multi national, then would I do business with my creditors who have sent my debt to those creatures that feed off other peoples misery,,,,, Not bloody likely !!!!! I have to say I am still paying 50% of my payments to my original creditors but I see on here others have been sent out to the pond-life,,,, I dare say that the ones who are still dealing direct may bounce them out as it is over two years since financial melt down arrived, so I won't name them and risk the curse of muppetcroft appearing on me doorstep with there pre-school divisional letters. And to my work colleagues and friends who have helped me over these past two years in having to lend me the odd quid here at the ending of the month and having to answer the phone to the pond life at the start, and to my good old mate who took out me mobile contract YOU HAVE RESTORED MY FAITH IN THE HUMAN RACE. That also goes for the good ole folks here on CAG. FOR EVERY DCA REPTILE OUT THERE I BELIEVE THERE ARE 10 decent human beings if not more, To those fat cat's at the banks, you will never know the misery you have caused, you will probably never lose a wink of sleep and to think you are still paying yourself obscene amounts of money in bonuses,, for WHAT I MAY ASK,, for the tax payer who bailed you out. Yes, I was at fault as well, but you encouraged it, you told me the good times were here to stay, borrow more Hippy your house price is rising,,,, hmmmmm nothing like an old fool. And to top it all off, as a public service worker my job is now at risk as the last shower of muppetts with comrade Brown and Darling did exactly what the Hippy and many others did, borrowed beyond our means. Ok Hippies had his rant,,,, will fry up the magic mushrooms and light a nice eco friendly grass ciggy !!!!! But on a serious note,,, A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL ON CAG AND MY FRIENDS. I don't know what I would of done without you guys and girls. Saved our local plod having to fish out another unfortunate from the local river.
  14. ok, had a nice big juicy letter on me door mat on monday after returning home from a weekend of work and staying at girlie friends house. Yorkshire banks response to my SAR is just six years worth of statements that is all.. I wanted the correspondence I wrote to them in respect to them failing to change my account over from a joint with ex to a single one which they bullied me into doing. What action next. Do I write and say you have not satisfied my request.???? I am going to count up the charges over the period of dispute as they only refunded £100.00. Also no letter of assignment to Marlins.... hmmmm Have gone through the statements and the total charges during the dispute was £355.00 in various unauthorised DD's and Loan payment. They refunded me £100.00 when I complained that it was all there fault as they told me that they would transfer all my Direct debits to the new account. The closing charge on the account was £872.25 should I now dispute the amount with MARLINS. ?????
  15. maybe some DCA will be chasing him for his company losses ???????? that's why he wants to be more compliant.
  16. Rockwell, this is keeping me in fit's of laughter, better than any funny backy this saga,,,, they certainly love you. I think you will have done the rounds of all the DCA's in the UK before long. We could approach the BBC and sell this as a soap, would beat Eastenders any day
  17. It's looking good resolution, think about it, if they can't even get the debt account right in the first place what's the chances of them having the correct paperwork!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it's a you taking the fight to them now... Like you I buried my head in the sand and let them push me around for two years, £40,000 unsecured debt after my marriage break up, now most of them are sorted, token payments and still the roof over me head just about. (me and BB having a run in with Marlins at the moment but hey it's nice to keep BB's letter writing skills up to speed) heee Fredricksons have raised there ugly head on a store card I forgot all about but hey, hitting them with a SAR to see what's occurring, seems to have risen by £400 in 18 months hmmmmmm I am sure BB and co here on CAG are just tamping at the leash ready to go when they see this kind of under handed dirty pond life trying all sorts of dodgy tactics. As I said, thought Debt Collectors had loads of power before i stumbled across this great site. Keeping me fingers crossed for you.
  18. Hippy subbing with interest Have a MINT card meself
  19. Thanks Tingy and BB, as ever quick and very very useful advice. Have sent the letter telling them thanks for bringing the matter to my attention and that I seek further information from there client.... i.e a SAR. Will see what the wind blows in on that on.
  20. sounds ok resolution, the overdraft as you know is not covered by the CC act. I take it that the Barclays one is an old Morgan Stanley,,, post up as soon as you get it as they have been very slippery with reconstructed agreements. The more experienced boys and girls on here will tell you if they are pulling a fast one.
  21. Hi Resolution, Just wanted to say you are in good hands with these good people, get your life back. Don't worry about the DCA, Bazooka is legendary for his letters I have had great help off CAG. Best of luck.
  22. whow A+ brilliant opinions,,,, given ye old hippy food for thought. Would need a few kilo's of the strange weed to have even thought of the end of our global world and species. Serious, enjoyed the read and your bit about not ever again going for credit and living in a caravan if needing too. 100% with you on that one. It was strange though, the lady at CAB was a little surprised I was going to take on the DCA's now myself, should have informed her of this site. Lots of opinions and super people.
