Afraid it is true. Compensation claims for Internation Deliveries take at LEAST 12-16 weeks to process, and that is BEFORE any backlog caused by strikes. What it is about is them trying to further abuse the court process. On the forum it seems to be the general concensus of opinion that we should ask for a refund of our PPI premiums plus contractual interest plus 8% simple interest. Loosing the 6 weeks was a pain but, when claiming Tax Credits they have told me if you receive SMP it is counted as a taxable income where as they do not count MA as a taxable income.
