Just had a call out of the blue from Student Loans Co. I moved a couple of months ago, so don't know how they got my number!! I thought that I had derferred....

 

Anyway, what do I need to do to CCA and S.A.R them.

SAR letter - You need to enclose a fee of £10 - postal order or cheque. They have 40 days to respond.

Not sure about CCA, if you read some of the threads the SLC are not regulated under the same rules. I sent an SAR to them on behalf of my son but not a CCA. He also thought he'd deferred, but they consistently lose his paperwork and send letters to the wrong address. They are so inefficient.
