Hi all,

I am at the begining of my journey.

I sent off the S.A.R - (Subject Access Request) letter from this site, along with a cheque, requesting the details for both accounts with Lloyds TSB.

This morning I received a response from them with a standard cover letter saying that they had enclosed details of charges going back to the opening of the account or 1st Sept whichever was most recent.

My personal account seems fine, just need to work out al the charges, but with the joint account they only sent details back to Oct 03, when I added my partners name. I cannot be sure if there were any charges before that date, so now I don't know what to do.

Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Thanks for that,

I might try and give them a ring later (when the kids are having a nap!).

They havent actually sent me the statements which is confusing, just printouts of all the charges and fees against the accounts.

I am just imputing all the info from the bank into the spread sheet and need a bit of advice.

I know I must have read it somewhere, but with the kids and everything I just cant remember where.

The printout from the bank lists Overdraft 'fee', unpaid DD/SO charges, and Overdraft interest.

I know I can claim for Overdraft fee & DD/SO charges, but should I include the interest charges?

Hi

This is what you can claim:

Overdraft Excess Fee

Overdraft Usage Fee

Returned Cheques

Unauthorised Borrowing Fee

Unpaid Cheque

Unpaid DDM

Unpaid Direct Debits

Unpaid Items

Unpaid Personal Loan

Unpaid Standing Orders

Unpaid/Returned direct debit

You can't claim the monthly fee for an upgraded account (eg a Select or Gold account) You can't claim all the o/d interest, only some parts, it is often not worth the hassle of calculating it, so most of us don't bother claiming it.

Good luck, keep us posted.
