  1. I am so confused... I have just got my S.A.R - (Subject Access Request) details back, and worked out how much they owe me, but have not sent them the next letter yet... Do I now have to wait or should I go ahead and send the LBA?
  2. I am just imputing all the info from the bank into the spread sheet and need a bit of advice. I know I must have read it somewhere, but with the kids and everything I just cant remember where. The printout from the bank lists Overdraft 'fee', unpaid DD/SO charges, and Overdraft interest. I know I can claim for Overdraft fee & DD/SO charges, but should I include the interest charges?
  3. Thanks for that, I might try and give them a ring later (when the kids are having a nap!). They havent actually sent me the statements which is confusing, just printouts of all the charges and fees against the accounts.
  4. Hi all, I am at the begining of my journey. I sent off the S.A.R - (Subject Access Request) letter from this site, along with a cheque, requesting the details for both accounts with Lloyds TSB. This morning I received a response from them with a standard cover letter saying that they had enclosed details of charges going back to the opening of the account or 1st Sept whichever was most recent. My personal account seems fine, just need to work out al the charges, but with the joint account they only sent details back to Oct 03, when I added my partners name. I cannot be sure if there were any charges before that date, so now I don't know what to do. Any help or advice would be appreciated. FV
  5. Hi all, We have just set out on our journey to get our money back, and this morning we have had a letter back from HBOS in respect of my partners account. We sent off the S.A.R - (Subject Access Request) letter from this site along with a cheque and waited - well just days before the 40 days is up (this weekend) they have sent him a letter with a bunch of leaflets about his rights, but no account info. The letter confirms they are dealing with his request and that they will supply all information he is 'entitled' to, but that HBOS is not obliged to supply records held in paper format as they do not form part of the relevant filing system. Is this correct? or are they just time wasting and looking for ways to withold information? Also, I really dont see how they think they will get the documents to us in time seeing as the deadline is this weekend and they only just sent a letter saying they are now looking into his request. Any advice or information would be appreciated. FV
  6. This is just a quick one to say hi, and show my interest. I am currently reading through this site (as best I can with 2 babies in the house keeping me busy!) and preparing to send off my S.A.R's to Lloyds TSB & Halifax. I have no idea how much they have taken in charges from me & my OH but I know its a lot. Hopefully I can get it back, and get us back on track... With our baby girls we need all the money we can get, but the banks don't seem to get it and keep charging us causing us to go overdrawn thus encountering more charges!
