Hi

I am in this situation was offered £4,240 against a £9,235 claim without any interest!!! was then yesterday telephoned from a really nice guy Perry Holmes who said the maximum they could offer was 75% of claim which would be around £6,500 very tempted but still think I can push for more  so am going to push next week for at least £9,000 i think... anyone got any thoughts

cheers Mews 320

No probs!

Here you go:

If you wanna' keep what they have paid in (assuming that they have ALREADY paid in) - then it's letter #2.

I got a top-up yesterday of £3.5+k.

So much for their FULL AND FINAL SETTLEMENT.

Hi Guys

Thanks very much for the advice I will dig my heels in, few more grand is better in my account than theirs.:D

By the way I sent them rejection letter for first amount back on the 7/7/2007 and they paid the money into my account so told them I accept it as partial repayment only...

This guy Perry was adamant that the maximum they could offer was 75% ???? is this right ?

Cheers guys for the help

Maybe it is the maximum amount that his *team* is allowed to offer.

But we are ALL going for the full amount, aren't we?

Hi Mews

Just stick to your guns .Dont be bullied into accepting anything but YOUR 100%.

They done that wih me too . made me an offer, not full amount, I sent Rejection off to them yet they paid money into Account anyway.

Ive requested they take it back but as of yet it still sits in my Account.

They've only had 11 days to take it out, Must need loads of MANUAL INTERVENTION to comply with my request.

Are you going for the contractua interest or just the simple.

Ive originally gone for the contractual but then I thought that I would not have a hope in hells chance of getting it , due to a lot of conflicting opinions. It seems to be a very difficult route to take and Im not that clever as to put a good argument together fo it. Many of the really clever people on here are trying to get an argument together though. Maybe the NEXT one eh.

Good Luck with your claim and just yell if you need any help at all, but, you seem to be doing just great on your own.

Regards :)

Hi All

Well just received letter today offering me now 75% which they say comes to £6,486.75. But the actual amount as I have said before is £9,235 (this is for 2 seperate accounts)

I have just sent them another letter rejecting this stating that I will still go to court for the FULL amount:D

oh and the £9,235 is without me adding any interest at all

Do you think I am doing the right thing ?????

Yes you are doing the right thing.

And once you go to court, the interest will be a nice bonus...:D
