Hello Guys

I have one credit card with capital one and not much chance of getting any others as credit is bad.

I would like to start getting my charges back from them but I dont want to loose the card.

Has anybody had them take the card away from them after winning a claim against them?

Any help would be apreciated.

Hi Kiri

It has happened before with some banks, card companies. I have'nt seen an account closure on here for a long time. It's normally the user when they get debt free, that closes the account.

Strangely enough I asked for £160 back from Cap 1, they've credited my account by £88 and upped my credit limit from £200, which I was happy with, to £800.

I have asked for full reimbursement and my account limit reduced back to £200

“It's not personal, Sonny. It's strictly business.”

Thank you for the tip Yanni - I will look out for that the charges arent much about £120 so I will see what happens

Just dont want my only way of getting my credit score back up, taken away but this does not seem like it will happen - will have to watch this space!!

I will keep you all posted - thank you everybody!
