The court have issued the default notice now, and while reading through the FAQ's on Moneyclaim it suggests that I can go for a warrant of execution straight away. Is this right ?

Do i not have to give them any time to pay ?

as you have already stated... and taken from the link you posted:

you can request a warrant of execution, once the status on MCOL shows that judgment has been entered.

Then do it! I don't see any reason you would hold back? :? At end the of the day it's only going to help you get your money quicker, which is ultimately what you want!

I'd say it was pretty black and white, following the advise on the MCOL site you really can't go wrong!

If the status on MCOL shows that a judgement has been entered, then simply request a warrant of execution. Once you have your money, the matter is closed and you can go and enjoy a nice beer. Like yourself i'm unsure exactly of how requesting a warrant of execution differs from issuing a default notice, but I would get the matter concluded ASAP. 8)
