firstly hello and welcome

i havnt heard of anyone being closed for asking for statements!!

in fact very few are closed at all, everyone has been wrapped on the knuckles and told that they have to be good from now on..

most have opened parachute accounts, and its probably best if you do the same as well.

i opened a step account at nat west, it was very easy and all they wanted was two of the following passport, driving licence, utillity bill. or the last two bank statements, which i didnt show. took about 10 mins to open account, very easy..

hope i have been of some help. :)
