Hi, my daughter was bought a really expencive Pen for a present £300 plus. but she does no need it, sounds ungratefull i know, but there are more important things she could use the money for. the problem is she would like to return it to a very large department store but because she has no recipte she does not think she can, does she need a reecipte to return a presant

yes is the answer, she will need the reciept especially if the pen can be purchased at several differant stores, she will need to prove it was bought there.

If the pen is in its origional box/pagage they may give her vouchers to the value, Its worth a try.

I don't own a £300 pen but I can appreciate the pleasure in owning something well made, expensive and costing far more than its function might suggest.

Hi Braken.

My daughters a school teacher and is happy with Biros, the pen was a loverly present and i am sure if she was was'nt trying to get the deposit and other expences together to buy her first flat in london she would love to keep it. unfortunitly as you can appriciate as a teacher a pen is not number one priority. I on the other hand agree with Glen, i would love to own it. maybe these things are meant to be and in time she will be glad she was unable to return it.
