I rejected the offer of just the charges back, & the woman on the phone tried to tell me that they never pay the 8%, but I held out & got it, & that's what'll happen for you as well, you will get it ALL back. They even cut it fine with money if you remember, it's just their way of trying to bluff you, & hope that you'll back down, but, like everyone else on here, stick at it, you know what that saying is: What goes around, comes around!!! All your money will come back to you, soon.

Hi Ja-de & Overflow, What I meant was that when I received their letter telling me they were going to deposit 1488.50 in the bank, I should have let them and then carried on with my claim but like you say overflow it should all be over soon, its miz that I feel for at the moment, no money yet and having to wait until Monday:( Bl**dy Halifax B*****ds, but thankyou so much for your support, this site and all the people on it are invaluable xx

Well, I have absolutely NO patience, so I have phoned the Halifax today, spoke to Rachael Hinchcliffe (what a nice lady) and she said there was a letter on its way, im not going to get too excited cos youve only to look at Miz's and Lisa's threads but she said if letter not arrived by Wednesday, to give her a ring and she will personally chase it up. Soooo we shall see x

Just phoned Halifax and spoke to the "nice man called Gerry", he said that they had received my 7 day letter and that it will definitely be going to court and that they DO NOT pay up the full 6 years anymore. OOOOOOOOOh S**T!!
