  1. Hi, I have received a banning letter from Sainsbury’s which a permanent ban On the basis of shoplifting. I am based in London When I was cautioned they're undercover detective said I will be required to pay a fine and the photo taken of me will be circulated to their database and I should never come back to any Sainsburys. My questions are: 1. Can I contact Sainsbury’s and ask for the ban to be revoked? I am happy to do it via a solicitor if needed. 2. How likely are they to revoke it? 3. Are my chances greater if I let it settle down first and contact them again maybe in 6 months? 4. Are they any downsides of me contacting them - ie head office now having my details helping them enforce the national ban? 5. If I wait a few years and go to a Sainsbury’s somewhere else, is there a way they will know that I am banned? Many thanks in advance! My really worried long term, as its so difficult to avoid a Sainsburys for the rest of my life!
