Hi there, quite new to the CAG site, but have been with MSE for a while now.

Downloaded my charges from the online banking in order to save some time.

Q1. if it gets to the court stage, will downloaded information i.e. figures on a spreadsheet suffice ?

Q2. I sent my 1st letter on the 12th Mar, they have not wrote back as yet, but as I did'nt formally request the information how can I confirm that they are looking at my 1st letter ?

Always send by recorded delivery, that way you have a record of when it was delivered and they cannot try to fob you off.

You can 1 of 2 things.....

wait the suggested timescale for a response.

or

phone them and ask if they are dealing with your request.

In phoning them you should get some form of clarification that they have recieved your letter, but it may appear as though you are not sure what you are doing.

Personally i would just sit it out and wait for a response, but its up to you x

To answer Q1 if you print your statements out from internet banking it should suffice but only send this to the court once the case has been allocated and you've been asked to submit evidence bundle.

Until then the spread sheet print outs will suffice.

Welcome to forum and good luck BTW

I think I might have fallen at the first hurdle

I sent my initial letter to my branch rather than the head office.

Do I need to send it out again ?? or should I give them a little more time to make sure it gets to the right department.

Sorry Michael.

I downloaded my statements from online banking, converted them to a spreadsheet & sent this along with a letter to the branch requesting the money back. (I think this is step 2).

I am waiting for 14 days for them to reply.
