The judge placed a stay on my claim as he said a case was going to higher court and he wanted to see what the outcome was blah blah blah.....

I sent him the template letter to request the removal of stay and i have just recieved a letter requesting me to go to court to " HEAR THE CLAIMANTS APPLICATION TO SET ASIDE THE ORDEROF 17/01/07" WHICH WAS THE DATE I REQUESTED THE REMOVAL OF THE STAY, DOES THIS MEAN I HAVE TO GO TO COURT TO PROVE WHY I WANT THIS REMOVED, HAS THIS HAPPENED BEFORE?

PLEASE HELP, IAN

Gloucester court by any chance? Which bank is it against?

Don't panic, this is nothing to worry about. I had a hearing to set-aside my stay and was successful and there's no reason why you can't be either. This thread should help - http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/lloyds-bank/61791-help-claim-stayed.html#post537178

They're supposed to attend, but its highly unlikely that they will - they'll send a letter instead. There's a link on the post I just linked for you to Karen29's thread - her's was against Abbey, that should tell you exactly what to expect.
