I sold a parcel on depop app.

I used EVRI label to deliver to the customer through depop app.

I sent it on 17th April and contact everyone EVRI to say there has been no status update.

They have emailed saying below I should contact depop.

Depop policy says i should refund the whole amount to the customer and they will then give me £20 compensation unless I have some sort of further insurance which I don’t now was I given the option to.

What shall i do to get the full amount back?

Shall i take depop or evri to small claims court?

I was meant to get £69.29 from the sale.

It was on depop for £80 but they take 10% fee and also charge a transaction fee.

I sold a special dress reluctantly to pay for my bills and now I will be left worse off. Any advice would be appreciated. Many thanks in advance

Good morning Javeria,

Thank you for getting in touch with your enquiry regarding parcel reference ..........

I am sorry that your parcel has not been delivered.  I've checked on our system, the last tracked of the parcel was on 17/04/2023. Unfortunately, there was no scan at our collection depot and the parcel hasn’t been located, therefore has been deemed lost in our network. I can appreciate how frustrating this situation must be for you.

I can see that you purchased the shipping label for this parcel via Depop when you sold your item. While your parcel was sent using the Evri network, Depop are regarded as the carrier in this situation as they provided you with the shipping label. This means that any claims for parcels which have become lost, damaged or delivered late will need to go directly to them so they can discuss the appropriate next steps with you.

In turn, Depop will get in touch with us on your behalf to discuss the matter further.

If you need anything in the future, please contact your Evri Customer Service Team and we’ll be happy to help.

Kind regards,
Wing

dx

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...
