Yesterday I received a 'notice of transfer proceedings' which is to be 20 miles or so from where I live . . . Details of Judge's directions will be sent to me in a notice of allocation etc . . .

ok, I've received my court papers, claimant has to pay £27 before the 26 September or the case is thrown out, the court date is 10th October on Teams . . . but I also have a 'Notice of Trial Date' which states the 10th October but at the County Court in Scarborough, very confusing lol

Well I would guess the case will be on-line although still "at" Scarborough County Court as it will be under the court's jurisdiction.

Maybe worth a call or an e-mail to them though just to be sure.

Yep, your Witness Statement needs to be in by 26 September.  That's a pretty long & detailed legal document so you'd better get on with preparing it.

In the PPC Successes thread, virtually every case with "claimform" in the title will have an example of a Witness Statement, with the majority being towards the end of the various threads.

Start on page 16 and work backwards.

it didn't go to court, I had a court date with Teams Viewer etc in early October, however yesterday they conceded and discontinued the case . . . well done caggers yet again!

alas our victory was short lived, yesterday I received a letter offering me the opportunity to pay £200 within 14 days or it'll go to court . . . please see the attached

and just to clarify what you said earlier, the court doesnt send out N279's - the claimant does that.

I see the threat-o-gram is dated 14 September, and the Notice of Discontinuance 15 September.

Just to be ultra sure, I'd phone the court to make sure the case has been discontinued.
