Hi folks

I have made a start with my claim for bank charges. The pre-lim letter and spreadsheet of charges has been posted, and within 4 days i had an acknowledgment to my letter (20.10.06) which did put me on the back foot a little as did not expect to hear anything saying blah blah blah sorry will investigate as matter of urgency and a member of customer services will be in touch within the next 7 days........ Yep never heard a dicky bird from them so will send on the next letter. This is where i require a little help.! At this stage do i add the 8% on and is it too late to ask back for my £10 sent for the Data access request as i understand it we can ask for that back cant we?

Advice would be very much appreciated, this money could come in REALLY helpfull for christmas.

Do not add interest until you actually file a court claim. At the point you file your claim, you can add the statutory 8% interest.

It is not too late to ask for your £10 back either.

iGroup (GE Money) - AoS Filed late, defence late, amended defence also late despite extra time requested and granted.

Vanquis - Claim issued, no AoS or Defence received

Well having followed proceedure step by step sending pre-lim letter then letter b4 action, although i have had a response from co-op on both occasions the last letter the co-op said give us 6 weeks and we will look in2 it. No way was i going to do wot they wanted!! having waited for the 14 days to pass i have proceeded on to the small claims court, this is where i did soften a little and wrote to the co-op and informed them that i had proceeded to go to small claims court as stated in my 2 previous letters and informed them that i felt they had had enough time to investigate my claim, and did say that this stage could of been prevented if they had taken action sooner.

Fingers crossed that i get a positive response and b4 crimbo as well. That 8% interest bumps your amount up nicely as well (every little helps) . Not sure if i was right to add Small Claim court charge on aswell but i have and have included all on my spreadsheet, which i again included in my last letter to the co-op.

Laters taters will let you know how i get on but wish me luck;)
