Hi guys

Was successful on my first claim with Natwest (a joint account), they paid up just after the MCOL claim which was a bit of a shock, now going for my sole account and my husbands sole account.

Have a feeling it may not be so easy this time round, dont know why. Maybe its because Ive not had any responses at all to any letters, and last time I had two offers by this point. Maybe they dont think its worth doing that now as they know I will see it through?

Anyone had experience of two claims and whether it is more difficult second time round?

Today I should be doing the MCOL for both these but feeling very apprehensive and dont know why...

There is absolutely no reason why you wouldnt get the same result as before!

I did two claims for Halifax for the same account, without any problems.

Remember its YOUR money!

Go for it!

Halifax settled

Halifax (again) settled

Nationwide settled

Natwest settled

Yet again Ive dropped a big clanger! On my sole account Ive just noticed the two letters Ive sent, the prelim and the LBA, although the letter is correct, the schedule Ive attached has the wrong account number on!! It has my husbands on as I just overwrote his details with mine, obviously forgetting to change the account number. I should be filing the MCOL today, but am I now best going back to the beginning and starting it again, or do you think just one more letter along the same lines as the LBA, attaching the corrected schedule will suffice? Anyone?

Go back to the start Fuzz. I don't see it as being a huge problem as you haven't actually issued proceedings yet but if you get it right from the outset then it gves them nothing to go at later.

Well, success number two yesterday, received full and final settlement for hubbys sole account, only did the MCOL on Monday, so very quick once again!

Having to start mine all over otherwise would have expected same result. Two down, one to go!! :D
