Received the gladstones solicitors letter on behalf of smart on 9/12 for myself and my wife's alleged two infringements dated 25th and 26th of may 17 respectively.

we are at the same point of non-negotiations as crossward , and the same circumstances (no adequate signage , non-working pay meter) apply to our case, so we would be grateful for advice from ericsbrother or anyone regarding the reply to the LBA when it arrives.

 

perhaps they are going to wait until they have everyone's reply letters to arrange a job lot at the cc,,, :

it doesnt work like that

but do tell us when you get the next letter and we will advise a suitable response.

 

It wont be polite so dont come back and say things like

 

"I couldnt possibly write in such an unprofessional way"

because telling them straight in a letter than can be used as evidence for their harassment and breaches of the DPA etc will have more effect than some polite denial of the facts.

 

If these parking cos's and the IPC relied on facts and the law as it stands they wouldnt send out a single NTK in the first place.
