Hi all,

I purely signed up just to say thanks!

Took the advice and found the CEO's email and dropped him a message similar to the one HERE

, 2 hours later I had a phone call apologising and my order cancelled with zero losses!

Wouldn't of done it without this thread/forum!

Thanks!

own thread created

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

Hi and thank you for the kind words.

I saw your post earlier on the end of an existing thread and wondered if your experience was the same as that poster or did you follow a different route to get satisfaction?

If you are asked to deal with any matter via private message, PLEASE report it.

Hi, I never gave a story as to what happened so il briefly explain the ordeal.

Sunday me and my partner went into a Scs store just browsing, after speaking with a sales guy about unsure if we could get credit he quickly moved us to his desk and had possession of my bank card (pressure and persuasion).

Within minutes he never gave us no answer to if we passed or failed the check but low and behold I signed some paperwork which I should of read through but we never got a chance to see what it was. (My fault, never sign anything you don't know what you're signing)

Once signed he then highlighted a small paragraph stating non cancellable/refundable. Also on the paperwork he added fabric care and protection but never breathed a world about it.

So it comes to Thursday and me an my partner decide that we change our mind on the sofa and monthly costs so we both said to cancel. Rang the store and spoke to the same sales person who bluntly said "Nope! Cannot cancel an order. I told you this and you signed for this"

So after a few phone calls and a good browse online I found this forum. So I promptly found the email of the CEO and sent him a similar email to the one linked in the first post.

2 hours later we had the Regional manager solving the issue!

Hope this helps someone else if they get screwed by these!
