Right, I sent the prelim approach for payment last week and got a response last night which appears to be standard saying that they “are sorry I am disappointed..” and “they do not agree with the OFT’s findings”.. and that they are basically not going to give me my money, but helpfully enclosed a leaflet for complaining to the Ombudsman. How kind.

However, they added a bit and said that “as a goodwill gesture” they have refunded the interest charge on my agreed overdraft for October… (BTW, I cleared the overdraft last week.) and I am wondering what to do next now.

If they have refunded this interest charge this doesn’t mean I accept this is anyway as being a settlement or something silly does it?!

Also, what letter do I send next, letter 3 refers to them not responding to prelim letter and letter 4 looks too far ahead and means nothing to my tiny brain!

Help! Please!
