The above link should take you to a piece about quickquid who are trading very close to illegallity in the UK.

Their consumer credit licence is up for renewal in July, time for as many compalints to the OFT as can be raised.

Interesting..this may mean however that QQ would find it difficult to start legal proceedings against somone who they alleged owed money, many may recall that HFO ran into difficulties with their constanmt to-ing n fro-ing between UK and offshore companies so much that it really wasnt clear to whom the monmey was owed and who were the court applicants, the result being the defendant won :)

Who fancies getting a big QQ loan to test this out ?..Ha

If there so called office in Green Lane is used as a base to start legal action from and it appears they canmt be bothered to answer coorespondence, I wonder if theyd answer all thye correspondence from Court, etc.

It maybe the case that QQ themselves (or atually CashEuroNetUK) would have a hard time bringing any sort of claim (small or otherwise) as they have a very limited presence in the UK (if at all, legally). In fact having a quick Google, court threats are common but actually court action is hard to find.

They may however sell on or assign the debt to someone else who then takes court action, but I believe the question may then be, has CashEuroNetUk the right to sell/asign the debt in the UK ?

HFO still have the same problems - their last assignment being illegal, (no ccl licence for the assignee).
