THEY ARE NOT BAILIFFS

no DCA's HAVE ANY SUCH LEGAL POWERS

tell them to leave or you'll call the police.

you are under NO LEGAL OBLIGATION

Hi Tiny,

If you feel there is SAR data missing, use the SAR Non-Compliance letter and confirm what other items you believe should be supplied.

You can also send the DCA a letter using the link in post#53 above and confirm that the a/c is in dispute due to the bank's failure to comply with your SAR.

  • 1 month later...

Another letter today

(nothing for well over a month)

which is telling me that they will be passing it back to their client to ask for next steps

and the letters I have not replied to will be used against me.

I have 14 days to reply.

Each letter seems to say something different.

Advice on what to send them please

No I didn't send the letter as I had sent it last time and got nothing back. Shall I write back or leave it. The letter says they are reporting it back to client for them to decide on further action but I have 14 days to contact them?? rather confusing when it reads being passed back but contact them? TIA

Hi Tiny,

Personally, I'd do nothing until you see what the bank or DCA does next.
