Had letter back today saying they cant give breakdown as commercially confidential.

They say reviewed account and all charges are lawful and correctly applied after OFT report they reduced to £12 in Sept 06 so they say all is ok.

They believe that charges are fair and lawful and no refund.

Any other letters or is this end of the road?

Thanks

Hi chaddy

O.K., write to them, ask them again for a 'breakdown' of their costs. Ask them if this is their final answer on the matter, if it is take your complaint to the FOS. But tell them 'if I have to take my complaint to the FOS, then it will cost Capital One £500, which is much more then if Capital One refunded my charges'.

Lets see what they say.

Letter from Crap1 offering full amount in charges and interest after asking them the following!!

I require you to show me a full breakdown of the relevant cost to you in so I can determine if the charges levied against me are in fact fair or not.

They replied that its still commercially confidential but as gesture of good will and no admittance of liability they will pay out in full!!!

Presuming I need to send form back to them accepting?

Thanks everyone!!!
