Was this the first time that you have been re-assessed in the past 8 years?

Hi

No i was not assessed this time, I was assed last year and awarded for life, then out the blue a few months ago i got one of their book type forms to fill out, when i rang them up and asked why i had to do this again they said it was a formality even tho i was awarded for life. I have had no medical nothing, just doc reports which were very informative and stating how severe my illness was etc then i got a letter saying i was entitled to nothing that i could walk etc same pace and length as anyone else. How they can justify this i am baffled

I see, there is every possibility that someone has contacted the DWP saying that you are a benefit cheat and that your claim for DLA was exagerated.

The DWP send out these forms to check you out if they are suspicious.

If that is what has happened, you will have twice the job of proving that you are entitled to DLA.
