The original CAG account has you old email addy associated.

That needs changing to a new one-which should be different to the one used for registering this Abrigadier.

All you needed to do was provide a new email addy and your pw could have been reset.

That's the problem the address was changed

but when I try to log in on the old account now

it wont recognise the address or the password,

DX kindly sent me information on recovering

the actual e-mail address that shows no as unrecognised??

Also on the reset password section it's shows a yahoo

account will receive the confirmation of the new password

so I can't go down that line, so guess I'm back as a newby:mad2:

I would set up a new email that is not Hotmail. It is possible everyone in your email list got the sc-am, even though it was not a very convincing one. You need to let people know it was not from you in case they do get conned in some way. And report it to Hotmail ASAP. I can send you a copy of the mail

 

There was a feature on 'Fake Britain' (I think) where a couple whose son was in South America started getting mails that he was in prison and needed money, in fact he was on a bus somewhere and out of contact! It happens very often

Send us a new email addy and it can be configured to your original account.-then you can be sent a new pw.

is totally gone nothing

will restore it all DX kindly

have sorted it but wont accept

and warning no such account

exists.

At least this is not my

work computer otherwise

Yeah but would still see if Hotmail can kill it as you do not want this 'hacker' trying to get money out of your friends!

Done it no longer exist according to

hotmail and the geniuses at work

have tried to replicate/restore all

comes up negative so i hope that the end of this

extra protection installed on this account, but

will be transferring to a new provider.

No still can't log in to BRIGADIER2JCS and am

now getting posts on new hotmail address and

some on the gmail address and some on both.

I am back from Germany around 1500 to day if

your around and online 1600 or so.

They're not different a/cs as such, the Brig has some technical difficulties at the minute so opened a second a/c.

 

Everyone starts as a novice with one 'green blob' as they make more posts & people add reputations the 'blobs' increase & their membership status rises.

Hello old friends and new. I have been absent for a long time with more pressing matters than debt (?!) However, we are currently fighting an S21 eviction notice and have a date set at County Court for 25th October, trying to postpone till 1st November, because of half term.

 

We have a solicitor who has filed our defence, through legal aid, but funds don't cover her coming to court on the day. Do we, on CAG, still have court buddies? I couldn't find a link.

 

Is there anybody in Bristol that could hold my hand on the day?
