Need help!

Whilst in the City of Stinking ******* Westminster today (sunday) I parked within a

designated area without displaying a valid ticket. I instead displayed my disabled

badge holder for the short duration time.

There were spaces for disabled, permit holders for use of 6:30pm saturday so free sunday

but the spaces were limited so I took the nearest I could find!

I came back to find a ticket on my screen and a picture taken of the disabled badge.

What is the validity of this fine?

I cannot afford to pay at this stage or are they violating my disability rights?!

Where you can park

  • Blue Badge Disabled Bays: Free parking for up to 4 hours between 8.30am and 6.30pm Monday to Friday and unlimited parking in these bays at all other times.
  • Pay & Display and Pay by Phone Bays: Blue Badge holders can stay for one extra hour for free after making an initial payment for parking. (Note: you must display your valid Blue Badge and clock showing the time of arrival)

Parked in a residents or shared parking space!

But the hours of enforcement are surely:

Monday - Friday 8.30AM - 6.30PM.

Only enforceable within those stated times?

So if I parked on a SUNDAY displaying my badge there is no case??

HELP!

Is this an assumption on your part or was there a timeplate which stated those times for that bay.

I'd be surprised if those were the times for central London.

Which road?

It may be out of date and needs to be checked, but looking at the sign on Google Streetview it's 'Resident Permit Holders Only' and 'At Any Time'.

BB holders are not allowed to use Resident Holder's bays in Westminster.
